Majeski Design Studio
Shapes salvaged Pacific Coast timber, rare stone, and natural remnants into one-of-one designs.
The Artist Behind the Forms
Nathan Majeski's practice is rooted in preservation, minimal intervention, and a understanding of structural form. Sourcing exclusively from historical logging remnants and ecological management programs, he translates the solitary quiet of the forest into contemporary design. Each piece of ancient timber is selected for its exceptional grain patterns, inherent imperfections, and natural variations, then hand-built into lasting architectural art.

Each subtractive structure is carved from salvaged Douglas fir, revealing the deep ecological history of the material. Natural variations—including distinct knots, mineral streaks, and structural checks—are preserved to bridge raw nature with refined contemporary design.
